The four Jeep lineup we will be observing for the fuel efficiency are the Compass, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler JK.
Depending on which transmission and trim you are looking to achieve around 23/32 (City/Highway). That is standard with the 2.4L engine with six-speed manual transmission.
The Jeep Cherokee achieves 21/30 (City/Highway) with the 2.4L engine and nine-speed automatic. It also comes in at a higher horsepower at 184.
Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Grand Cherokee achieves 19/26 (City/Highway) with the 3.6L engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. That MPG may seem minimall, however its horsepower is at an astounding 295.
Jeep Wrangler JK
The Jeep Wrangler JK comes at 17/21 (City/Highway) with the 3.6L engine. And the horsepower is rated to be at 280 with torque at 260. With that being said the Jeep Wrangler JK is priced considerably lower compared to the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
