Used 2015 and later Toyota Tacoma are highly reliable. They are widely known to have no major issues. And with that being said, it’s one of the best cars sold in today’s market.

On the other hand, the 2016 and newer Toyota Tacoma was built with a different style. Although it looks better, its looks similar to that of the previous years. However, that’s where the issue arises. With a new design it can hinder the car performance. And that’s only the beginning. There are noticeable issues with wind noise, squeak or rattles in the door panels, slipping transmissions, and other nuisances.

Pricing between a new and used Toyota Tacoma has little variance. Taking the 2013 Tacoma and put it up against the 2018 Tacoma you can see that the the price difference is very minimal. Reasoning could be trade in value, reliability and build quality.
