Design Differences

The Silverado is equipped with high-strength steel that gives it the ability to maintain the longest-lasting truck on the road. On the other hand, the F-150 is made from aluminum. With aluminum you can shed a lot of weight off the truck, but it’s more prone to dents and repairs.

At the entry level of both trucks, both models comes equipped with a V6 engine. However, the Silverado beats the ford in that it provides more torque.

Both of the trucks are recognized as safe trucks. Both being equipped with anti-lock disc brakes, advanced airbags and traction control. However, the Silverado offers a safety-alert seat, teen driver technology and more over the F-150.
